That seems to be the current leaning, it's true. But it's been used in other ways as well, not that long ago. For example, for several decades (until fairly recently in fact), every single terrorist in a Hollywood movie was an Arab. Or so it seemed.

Well, I don't know. I thought Angelina Jolie did a great job in "Salt" - as farfetched as some of it was - and I think Tom Cruise was originally slated for that part.
In fact, I'm waiting for a sequel to Salt but I guess it ain't comin'.
