"Just buy a bidet" is the new "let them eat cake".

It's really only cheaper if you need 60lbs of olives. And then it's only marginally so.

"I went to the store and strawberries were up $1.50 from the last time" is not reliable data.

The socialist Dems say we are worrying for nothing because all this inflation is only temporary! Under Biden's proposed Build Back Better human infrastructure plan, loan forgiveness and childcare payments "won't cost you anything!" Say WHAT?????????? Getting all these freebies won't cost the recipients anything! For sure! But WHAT ABOUT THE TAXPAYERS who work for a living, and didn't borrow for college, and took care of the kids they could only afford to have? There's some great KARMA here, though, because all the people who voted for Biden/Harris are also suffering! LOVE IT!!

Keeping our closed border is really helping other countries, isn't it? Americans are really good people! How come the rest of the world never helps us??

Food inflation is not anywhere near 50%. This does not mean that prices for some foods being sold by some grocers in some places has not been inflated 50%. Milk was $4.99/ gallon this past week at my local CVS. I did not buy.

The price for milk ( same brand) was half the CVS price when one bought 2 gallons at a nearby grocery. I bought 2 and gave 1 away. I live in a highly competitive grocery area and have long viewed grocery shopping as a competitive sport.

Guess Biden could impose a price/ wage freeze by EO, as Nixon did in 1970. Most economists seem to agree that a similar action right now is not advisable.
Unless you are on a bicycle with a trailer to haul groceries you are going to burn a lot of fuel traveling from store to store trying to get the best prices. That pretty much eats any savings you can get out of the fliers.

No joke. Yesterday I went and bought my whole beef tenderloin for my Christmas Beef Wellington. In the past, it would have been about $150, but today, it's $260.

It is not only affecting what we spend but what we have coming in. I was hand building furniture. Wood is so expensive now that I can't make anything to sell and make a profit. I am a published author and belong to an author's group. Sales of all our books have declined.
