I believe the government will allow us more choices than the insurance companies. Insurance companies:

-rescind on a technicality when needed most.
-often deny claims hoping the plan participant is unable to file an appeal.
-have designated providers
-demand preapproval for almost any treatment
-will not cover experimental treatments
-often raise premiums very high just to get someone who becomes ill off their backs.

People on Medicare have many more choices. More than we have with insurance companies.

You do realize don't you that the Dem plan is going to REDUCE the "choices" on Medicare?

And frankly - I have far more choices with my insurance plan than medicare reciepents do - I don't know where you come up with otherwise

Again though - you avoided my question.

The entire document provides multiple citations to back up the facts in it.

It is from:

What is Health Care for America Now (HCAN)?
Health Care for America Now (HCAN) is a national grassroots campaign of more than 1,000 organizations in 46 states representing 30 million people dedicated to winning quality, affordable health care we all can count on in 2009. Our organization and principles are supported by President Obama, Vice President Biden, and more than 190 Members of Congress.

We are building a national movement to win comprehensive health care reform by helping mobilize people in their communities to lobby their U.S. Senators and Representatives in Congress to stand up to the insurance companies and other special interest groups to achieve quality, affordable health care in 2009.

Greatday,
You keep mentioning the inexpensive health insurance you have which provide unlimited benefits and choices and guarantee that your premiums will remain low.
Your posts here demonstrate your interest in good affordable insurance for all citizens. So why don't you help us all out and tell us what plan you have and with what insurance company. There may be many out there who can also benefit from the great deal you have. You also will be bringing business to the insurance company. So it would be a win-win for everyone involved!

So how about it? Share with all of us the details of what medical insurance you have so others can look into it.
