Hey, how about you find out about getting a spot at the Mandarin art festival to sell your jewelry...it's one of the best festivals in FL and will be held over Easter weekend next year. When & Where
She is making him get a co signer.....he made his mother so mad for a while, now I think she is signing, I dont know, but he has been dragging it out with the landlady, and she gets bent out of shape quickly.
He complained to me of all the new bills he has to pay, etc. I have to pay them too! Oh, I was one of his new bills on the list..... sheesh.

It's an art festival and is really a good one. They have separate awards for jewelry, paintings, etc. The other links on that site give more info. I know one of the artists and she said she always sells lots of her work there.
The 2007 award winners are posted on that site. You could google the jewelry winners to check out the competition!

A bus would probably stink....train is kinda pricey. You could rent a car. You'll need the trunk for your jewelry.... You'll have a place to stay and I'll feed ya...oops, that may make it a deal breaker...my cooking!

Robyn, as I reread what you copied from my post about approval/validation/security I had to hit myself in the head again. One of those Homer doupes. I need a reminder from time to time. No one can really give me approval/validation/security. I need to find those things for myself. It's a fine line. Can someone withhold those things from you? Yes. Can someone chip away at your self esteem when you aren't even aware until so much of you is gone? Yes. Can you escape and turn yourself around and away from that behavior? Yes. It does take time. It takes practice. It takes being successful with those baby steps. You are doing that.
Oh, I'm sure there are many people out there who say that it would never happen to them. Perhaps they are right, or perhaps it just hasn't happened to them yet. I'm one of those people who gives others wayyyy to much credit and room to take advantage. I truly believe everyone has good in there somewhere. Some people just don't have enough good to make dealing with them a positive experience. They are takers. They want it all, and they want it now. Then, when I'm backed against a wall, I come out strong. I should not allow things to go as far in the first place. I end up feeling like the bad guy. My problem. I need more practice, but I'm getting better with it. Sound familiar?
