[quote=New Horizons;28692412]Right and if I'm bored here than I must be a boring person. I've been here for nearly 40 years since birth. I'm not tired of life, I'm just ready for a change of scenery.

I totally understand - I love it here but have only been here a year. I cannot imagine living in the same place all my life - how boring. I don't care where anyone lives - if you have been there all your life GO see what else there is!! You need some life experience!

That's how I'm feeling lately. I've been in a nice New England shoreline area since 1977, with a lot of restaurants and easy access to professional services, employment, etc. but I could use the growth experience of moving to someplace new that's just as good, but very different.

Agreed.

Nothing wrong in wanting to relocate and see what other palces would offer. That's the only way to know where you want to settle. I have never been in the same house/place for more than 4 years since 1986 (I count by soccer world cup that I am fan of and never saw it at one place twice. I probably be the same place watching world cup 2014 though, oh well who knows). Seeing many places make one appreciative of what they have or had and open minded. It sure made made me one.

Wrong. While not mountains you can definitely see elevation change in Lake County.

Yes i do. Bring me a strong front with strong T- storms, then a low of 30, then warm it up and do it all over again every few days during the winter, like 2"of rain per week. Then give me a southeast wind flow were I i can get some rain in the summer instead of being stuck a reverse west wind flow where i almost never get any rain.

Bring me a TS once a month during the summer and give me 50mph winds and 10" of rain. I live for rough weather and never seem to get it much here.

Why split hairs? The vast majority of the state is flat as a pancake, and everyone knows this.

Ignorance. Acceptance of stereotypes. Inability to accept new things or try new places. Fear (hurricanes, bugs). Pick one.

There's no hair splitting. Not all of Florida is flat, and you don't need to drive 10 hours to see rolling hills.

You took his post out of context just to be an a**. Mountains and rolling hills are two different things, and Florida is very limited in the rolling hills department.

No, I corrected an obvious error. You just don't want the truth to be known because it's a positive about the State. Who is being the a**?
