Brazilians knows that Argentina is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, in this sense i agree with you, but exists other points for analysis.
those who chose to STAY in venezuela, a few years ago, are now either dead or very sorry. When you have communism or a dictator, you're nuts to even visit the place.
There was a thread a while back talking about development and how advanced LA countries were or weren't becoming. Unfortunately is was locked down. From what I have personally seen, it amazes me how developed Chile has become in the last two decades while Argentina has really essentially let itself go. From the residential neighborhood standpoints, I found Chile to be much more taken care of, cleaner and more modern than Argentina. I think Chile is one of the more underrated countries just based on its quality of life and its geographic landscape. Argentina offers a great landscape as well, but its lack of investment in its infrastructure was shocking, especially knowing the country's history before seeing it. I think Brazil in areas was better than what Argentina offered for its residents. Don't get me wrong, if I were to move to LA, I would love Argentina for its history, but Buenos Aires' historic charm only went so far before you hit very mediocre swaths of the city. Chile and Brazil both seem to offer something unique, and if Argentina can finally start investing in itself again, Argentina could easily be the most underrated country.
What happened to Argentina? I remember visiting and thought it looked like Chile in the 90s. It was not what I expected at all. They're like a supermodel who just let themselves go and haven't invested in themselves for quite some time, meanwhile their neighbor went from being a 6 to a 9.5 in a decade.
I don't think Argentina is that bad, but it's not really progressing either. Argentina seems like M. Night Shyamalan, who makes a couple of good movies early on to get everyone excited, and then just slips into mediocrity, living off the fame and the fortune it made at the start of its career
