I'm happy you had such a wonderful time. Whenever we have those moments it is definitely time to stop and be still, knowing that it's the real thing. Most of what goes on down here is not reality (well, more of a glitch in the system). Sorrow, chaos, and confusion exist in this realm but not the next.
We who live without falling bombs and who hear no gunfire in our ears day after day have a lot to be greatful for, but we should never forget that there are so many who live lives of abuse quietly next door and who are physically, spiritually, or mentally scarred trying to make their way through a fog. Velcro says: Way too true. I once lived "there," with regard to the abuse, fear for my life, physically and emotionally scarred. I am thankful for every moment away from all that.
So many never know love here and so many can't "catch a break" day after day. Velcro says: I understand.
I'm so glad they will know love and peace when they die.
Some of us get to see glimpses of heaven while we are in this realm. We should definitely pass those moments on to those suffering from burdens nobody should bear. We all have our good and bad days. We should fill up when we can and give it to a friend, and hopefully the friend will be there for us when we are in need of filling.
Velcro says: I sure hope you are not "there" now . . . .
I found it was because I was focused on the amount of work and the goal of finishing the pile in time that caused the angst.
This ^ is, in fact, very good advice!

Unfortunately, the overwhelming majority of our time where June works is consumed with paperwork and the agency's focus on that, as opposed to their focus being on actual clinical issues or matters. It's ridiculous, to say the least. Some days "just June" feels more like 'just a paper pusher' than a shrink. Anyway, today is my 'early escape' day, so 'just June' is just thrilled senseless over that!

No, thank goodness, and thank you for your concern. All is quiet on the home front these days. I'm glad to be away from the chaos and confusion of previous years, in my own life and coming from the lives around me. It's just the never ending financial and physical problems, now, which I would much rather have!

Glad you are doing okay, as well.
Oh, thank G-d you are not in physical danger. Financial and physical are enough, for good night, and I do not diminish those. But to have the other on top of that -- just way over-much.
Thank God June's watching (yet again) HBO's re-run of Titanic (incurable romantic that June is) with a glass of ice coffee from Starbucks, or she'd really be in a state of despair!
Viva la Starbucks!
You too, a romantic?
You probably liked this as well "Legends of the Fall" with Anthony Hopkins (my fav) and Brad Pitt among other great actors. I just bought the CD and thought...hmmm...could be good. Tear jerker I tell you...

One of my favorites.
I was going to name my son Tristan, but didn't. I still think it's a good name, though.
I actually saw a preview for that movie before anybody knew of Brad Pitt, and I thought it was already out to rent, so I went to the movie store and asked the guy for "Legends of the Fall" with Brad Pitt, and he said, "who?"

Another kindred spirit...?
Wow! I also like the name for some reason...it rings a spiritual substance.
