Morning everyone, congrats to hg and nomad for their shiny stars.
Elston, I know what you mean about the recipe box. I actually bought a blank cookbook from one of my boys fundraisers. It is now titled Movingtohouston's family recipes. Any recipe that we eat all the time and enjoy goes in there. That way my kids will have recipes from me when I'm gone. I think it is kinda nice.
Tonight for dinner I have no earthly idea. I am thinking possibly meatloaf. I have a bunch of turnips that I need to use up.
Hello everyone!!!! To everyone with this firgid weather............ya'll wanna trade? LOL
Here........looks like we are having mashed potatoes tonight!!!
Uh...... are you serious? What kind of trade are we talkin' 'bout? Why don't you like your warm weather???? You actually want to sit around in ZERO degrees??? AND FLURRIES? and when the wind blows you understand it will be -20 right? LOL.... how warm are you? I am in shock but I think I better jump at the chance.... do I have to have a fight with Lacey for this? I don't know.... she is the deepest into the freeze out of all of us I guess.... LOL.... poor Lacey.... I can't even imagine your temps..... I know I'm cold.... MAN.... and YOUR temps are insane...... YOU take it...GO... get out of there.... RUN.... HURRY.... GO.....
Thanx SKBS-heard it's 96 deg warmer in Alaska than here. We are 48 below right now.
That is insanity Lacey.... I know we are cold.... but I can't even imagine it.... I couldn't handle it with my migraines....I would hibernate......stuff myself full of kettle chips and hibernate.

That is crazy! We watched a show a few nights ago on the Travel channel this guy was up in Alaska. To show how cold it was he threw a cup of water in the air before the water came back down it was frozen ice crystals! I don't know how fellow CD poster Rance stands it up there working outside like he does at times.
Just leftovers tonight, but am thinking of adding zucchini and yellow squash, I like that with Italian.
I saw this pic on www.icanhascheezburger.com and it made me think of City-Data Food Forum and all its inhabitants. Plus, this is a clever idea for a kid's party:
This morning the weatherguy took a t-shirt-wet - outside and in a minute it was solidly frozen.
