We are having Chinese food: snow peas with mushrooms, shrimp fried rice and egg rolls. I might add a 4th but haven't decided what.

Tonight I am making a ham noodle casserole, a Bavarian tomato and a red radish salad and with it a chilled beer. For dessert each of us a small round home baked meringue and on top of it one vanilla scoop and over that some hot bitter chocolate.

Ham With Noodles (Schinkennudeln) Recipe from Germany

*I also add diced spring onions*

Either one of you care to send me the recipes? Yum!

Tonight is baseball for my oldest - have to be there about 15 minutes after we get home from work.

We have leftover brats that were grilled last night. So the kids will have those with some watermelon and some cheez-its. We are going on vacation on Friday and the pickins are slim in our house!

Individual taco salads in a baked flour tortilla shell. I made yet another batch of chocolate & butterscotch chip cookies, so that's dessert again.

In my pantry was the most disgusting food item ever (that I got from someone moving out of his apartment): canned asparagus. So I blended it up with mayonnaise, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice and spices to make a dressing, and fine cut cabbage. I'm making a a slaw. I dunno what I'm having with it, but it's dressed in a bowl for later. Now I'm thinking about other canned vegetable grossness I might have in the cupboard that I can blend up for dressings.
