Enjoyed a late lunch, so I had soup and salad tonight. The soup was out of a can: Andersen's split pea soup. It was OK, but nothing special. I'm sure the split pea soup at their two restaurants is much better. Drank Lagunitas IPA.
Actually had some rain, so busted out some lentil sausage soup from the freezer.

3 egg yolks & 2 turkey sausage patties. Had to smell fumes for 12-hrs at work, so am angrier than a hornet's nest having to stave off asthma attacks & a headache all day/night. Glad I don't have any ale... I fear I might imbibe, then race around the 'hood in a vandalism streak to burn off my excess rage. Dang I need a new job... silver lining is I lost 7-lbs last wk, without trying, cuz I'm too bloody exhausted to eat.
Tonight will be fresh Lake Superior Lake trout (cooked in butter and lemon juice) with roasted vegetables (pepper, yellow squash, mushroom, onion in olive oil) over a bed of couscous. Maybe some homemade hot chocolate. Or...ehem...Halloween candy lol.
Fish and chips and cold slaw: the fish will not be deep fried and the chips will be cooked in the air fryer; it sill cut down on the calories. Also, I will add a little bit of diced fruit to the salad. If we are going to eat unhealthy we might as well try to make it a little less unhealthy.
