Another weird one - 4 spanakopita and a whole container of raspberries with some whipped cream.

2 slices of Irish cheddar. I'm allergic, but at least I ate something.

Love them as well but the food budget says: Back off Nita. I do not always listen to my food budget. Never thought of lamb tasting like venison but I guess, in a way, you are right, just not as strong.

We are going to enjoy chicken fried steak but in the air fryer, mashed potatoes, fresh beets and some brussel sprouts. Of course it is Sat and lots of college football, which will mean a few glasses of wine before dinner and maybe one with dinner. Oh and it is also Breeders cup day. So I guess we will be watching some horse races as well. Busy day, here.

Just back from a cruise vacation and near total abandonment of healthy eating, so tonight will be chicken vegetable vegetable soup (yes, 2x amount of veggies), a slice of crusty bread and apple slices with a sprinkle of cinnamon for dessert. Back to reality.

I am excited to be invited to a wedding today. At our age funerals are the standard.

The dinner will be held in a vineyard by a lake where we will be served some variation on a smoked pork chop. Can't remember what we chose. I do remember that others dining with us will be having champagne chicken breast.

Our host, the groom, is a vintner and has an interest in cooking so I'm expecting the meal to be good.
