Sidewall Pizza Company announced on Facebook it will close the Five Forks location on Woodruff Road on Saturday. "We've made the difficult decision to permanently close our Five Forks location," the post said. "Our last day of service at our Five Forks location will be Saturday July 15th.

A bar owner in Columbia had a 'regular' in his bar.. The bartenders told him he had too much, stopped serving him. They tried to get him a cab/uber/whatever.. He refused.
Pulled out and rear ended someone on his way home, got a DUI. I mean, it was just a bump. Replace the bumper on both vehicles and you're fine. Not gross DUI or anything.. He was.. 0.14.. So, close to double the current limit, but not there.
The woman in the car got $1 million from the bars' insurance company.
Damn! We used to go here all the time when we lived at Halcyon. Good food. I hadn't been in years.
Were all the Dragon Den's owned by the same people? There was the one in Simpsonville down by Ingles.. There was one on North Pleasantburg.. Seems there were more.
I just didn't know if they were all the same ownership or not.

I think they were owned by Vivian Woo and her husband. A couple may have been owned/ run by family. Their son Edmund owns Saskatoon on Halton Rd. I believe Edmunds grand parents owned a restaurant on Poinsette hwy in the 60’s.

First Chinese restaurant in Greenville as I recall the story going.
I'm reading the big writeup that Greenville News did on them back in 2000.. They were the first and only Chinese restaurant in Greenville until Dragon Den opened. so.. I don't believe they owned those.
You missed the point., three generations of Woo’s as resterauranteurs in Greenville, gen one New China, gen twoDragon Den, gen three Saskatoon.
Edmund is "Momma Woo"'s son. So, he's still second generation.
You may still be right. I don't know. The way that article is written, saying that they were the only Chinese restaurant in Greenville.. I'd read that as they didn't own it, but.. It is ambiguous.
