Also please tell us what all this stuff Plano has is ?
Plano has its own restaurant scene beyond chains, its own nightlife with many bars and even clubs, much more economic diversity (from super rich to welfare), a much larger local economy with anchor companies like Toyota, a historic downtown with historic architecture, rail transportation, an equal rights ordnance for its LGBT residents, etc.

So no, its not 6 one way half a dozen the other.

I don't know about an equal rights ordinance , but you could say Galveston has most of that as well. So perhaps we should include Galveston in these comparisons now...

After doing that you can't compare Dallas and Houston.

The scenery is DIFFERENT. Mostly because of the trees and countless skyscrapers outside of downtown Houston.

It's laughable really.

Saying they are the same is just plain lazy. Get out an meet or watch the people. It's light years diff
I agree. The cities have very different vibes. I hear mostly Dallas people say Houston and Dallas are the same. Now, places along the Grand Parkway in West Houston look like Dallas.

Give me a break, everyone knows you're the biggest Houston cheerleader on the site. You even had the audacity to come on the site and put a spin the Harvey flooding lol.

What’s the point? I’m confused, seriously.

When I’m in Houston, I don’t feel like I’m in Dallas. They even look different.

No I'm not going to give you a break. You try to characterize anybody who has anything positive to say as a homer as if that's all it takes to sweep them to the side. Post something of substance and I may give you a break.

Also what is this spin you speak of ? Show us what your talking about , Harvey spin ? What ?

Houston is at a disadvantage due to all of the unincorporated land around the city, even if you go look into the few cities like Pearland, Sugarland, Katy, etc... You're still not going to duplicate what you're getting in the DFW pocket cities. DFW Pocket cites have better infrastructure, City Building codes, city service, overall schools, etc..all done with a lower tax rates (no MUD).

Even with all of the action going on with the Pocket cites around DFW, Dallas is still relevant in the grand scheme of things.

Bottom line is you're not going to find a Plano, Frisco, or South Lake, (I could go on and on) in the Houston area. Sugarland, Woodland, and Katy are nice to Houston's standards, but not up there.
