I didn't get that scanner for Christmas and my daughter got the digital camera for Christmas and treats it like the "hope diamond" so i still use photobucket for all my online needs. photobucket has lots of free pix but you can't always tell what you've got is what you're looking for when you enter search words This one of Sherman Oaks was the only one I could tell for sure was Sherman Oaks related LOL !

Snow on the mountains of LA viewed all the way from the beach. Over 30 miles away.
 Catalina was also visible, but I don't have a pic. That's 40 miles away!

There's more to Los Angeles than the city!
Did you know that 1/4 of L.A. County is National Forest land? There's a lot of natural beauty in and around Los Angeles. Here's my contributions to the thread: Sunset at Mt. Pacifico, in the Angeles National Forest  Robert H. Meyer State Beach  Wildwood Park, Thousand Oaks  View from the top of Tarantula Hill, Thousand Oaks  The natives aren't always friendly - be careful out there!  These last three are from Liebre Mountain, north of L.A.

Just to show you the Mt Baldy.This is taken from my office in San Gabriel on Las Tunas.
Only once i've seen snow,but not this much. Usually it's further down Duarte side.
