Is there any chance that her having no credit at all would be better than if we tried to bump it up and it's not 700 yet by the time they call?

I knew I had seen it somewhere:

http://www.riverbaycorp.com/newrb/Co...pplication.pdf

The management company of Co-Op City outline their process for evaluating credit of people who have never established a credit history. They don't automatically disqualify you, they find ways to establish your credit, like utility bills. I suspect it will matter even less in your case, because your gf is not the primary person responsible for the apartment. Basically "they have their ways".

Sweet! We're gonna sign her up at Credit Karma later and see if she has a credit score (which she probably doesn't). If not, I'm not even gonna bother building her credit

It's High 500s to low 600s I believe. Definately not 700 like Q41.

Ok, that's great news, because q41 only took people with a 700+ Credit score, I was hoping Masaryk would be a little more realistic.. Thank you for that information...

Has anyone called the office this week to check the status of 1bedroom & 3 bedroom lotteries?

Since the deadline for applications was this past Monday I am sure they haven't gotten it all together yet, would not be shocked if they haven't even opened envelopes yet.
