Not sure but it's a great question if you find out please let us know. Are you on the list 1,2 or 3 bedroom ? Would you be willing to share application number (example1100's)?
@ Mimroy,
What they meant is they will wait until the 19th because it's the last day you can apply and send the money order. Only after receiving all the applications they will talk to you and let you know probably your status. Don't freak out, this process is very slow ...
The process is extremely slow and sometimes unclear. But at least you have a ton of people sharing information with you. Keep posting any information you find.
Thanks, yes I know it will be slow. Just curious because meli722 stated above that a letter was sent confirming the application was rec'd and I haven't gotten one and the lady in the office said we won't hear anything until 5/19
I'm so excited to have been picked in the lottery...just discouraging to know the wait could be years =(. I'm just above 1000 in the 1BR lottery. I wonder though how many people who got picked either don't qualify or won't send in their application because they don't want to spend the $200? Hoping A LOT!!
Did anyone else enter the lottery for the 1BR M-L co-op in the Columbus Circle area? The ad for that one came out just after the Masaryk towers ad. I'm curious if those letters have also gone out? Would be exciting to have a chance for both! I'm so sad that I've just recently discovered Mitchell-Lama and haven't been trying for years!
I was thinking the "Columbus Circle" letters would either have gone out already on the same general time schedule as Masaryk (i.e., starting a week later), though of course I could be wrong, maybe it is all up to the individual development with no conformity to a particular schedule. Guessing I won't have a chance at either, as if I couldn't get invited to a lottery taking 1,500 people, the chances I would get invited to a lottery taking 300 people seem to be slimmer yet.
I'm on the 2 bedroom and have 400 numbers ahead of me but I'm hoping that here's only like 100 people a head of me.
I walked by Columbia Street and they are doing a lot of construction.
by the way it looks like they have a huge gate that closes, maybe they are planning on closing it after hours.
And I saw a whole bunch of dogs
Looks like i can't post more then one pic
