We drove through one of the prettiest parts of OK in early April. We are on Highway 59 heading south toward Tahlequah.

Lake Eucha looks like a fun place.

Pretty scenery

I'm seeing places that nocoldiron would like.

The Illinois River. No canoeing today as the water is too high and too fast.

This campground will be fun of people when the weather is warmer.

Peyton's Place is one of several canoe rental places on Highway 10 north of Tahlequah.

Another place nocoldiron would like.

We almost stopped at Fatty's.

Another place for nocoldiron.

It's a very scenic drive.

Once we rode horses over this bridge on a trail ride when the river was too high to cross. It was scary!

What gorgeous countryside. I'd love to paddle that river. Love those pasture scenes too (I guess Nocoldiron's not alone in liking that kind of scenery), especially the first two, with the rolling hills behind the pastures. Great pictures, Peggy.

Peggy, your pictures are always such a treat. I get downright giddy whenever I log on and find that you've posted some new ones! They are just so simple and somehow peaceful - thanks for posting them.

Well, I just want her to know how much her pictures are appreciated - in the hopes she'll keep them coming!

You won't have to worry about that,
I was only teasing her.

Not to be the curmudgeon or anything.. but when commenting on someone else's pics, can you PLEASE delete the pics??? Its very easy, after hitting quote, simply delete the pics.

Rant! Party of one!

Whew. Okay, Peg. Back to you.

Angry Note to Self: Never try and cut grass after it rains

Saw this on the way to OKC today in Seminole County. It would make a good pic to send to Gary England.
