Why don't we send them our illegals and existing refugees from AOCs "concentration camps"? After all, they are just good, hard-working people. They should be able to have the Bahamas rebuilt in no time.
Does it make any difference that Canada, or Uruguay, or China hasn't taken any refugees from the Bahamas? Wonder if Canada, rather than sending 5 Navy/Coast Guard ships and 4 helicopters to help the USA after Katrina had taken the same attitude?
Or wonder if Canada, after 9/11 had told the USA, nope, we're not letting all those incoming planes land in Canada. You guys deal with it.. it's your problem not ours. You're the ones who got attacked, not us.

You, as a Canadian, is questioning why MY country is not accepting/accepting small # of Bahamians. I then asked you a very fair question and that question is HOW MANY BAHAMIANS YOUR COUNTRY CANADA IS GOING TO BRING IN?
Do not use excuses like "but but Bahama is 1000 miles from Canada...." We are living in the 21st century. These cruiseships that they are using to transport the Bahamian refugees can go all the way to Asia if they want to.
Also, Bahama is a former British colony/territory, not US. If anything, it's the British needs to step up.

Well, this is what ive gathered about this Canadian normstad
1) he talks a lot of crap about USA, but he has no problem spending 6 months out of the year in Florida. He even has property in Florida
2) he accuses US is not taking in enough Bahamian refugees, but when i asked how many Bahamian his country (Canada) is bringing in. His response was "Bahamian PM has 'talked' to Canadian PM" and "Canada is too far from Bahama"
This canadian has a serious case of NIMBY
