I never said that. I do think it is discrimination to not allow it, though.

Congrats to the CA Supreme court!

It's nice to see the state hasn't completely lost it's mind.

The voters do not want same-sex marriage and the Supreme Court stated the ban is legal. Marriage is not a right, the voters have spoken and want heterosexual marriage as the law.

We'll see how opinion swings in 2010. God bless the proposition system

Would someone...an opponent of "gay marriage" explain to me, using precise logic, the sequence of events wherein legalizing gay marriage in California would as some claim lead to the destruction of the family unit in American society?

Just one hypothetical sequence with no logical gaps or broad assumptions. And if no one can, then please explain how a modern society can create a law based on reasoning that is not logically sound.

As I said earlier, it'll be even wider as the Hispanic population continues to grow and the liberal whites continue to advocate abortion. The leftists want amnesty for votes but what's gonna bite them in the butt, is that the Hispanic is overwhelmingly against gay marriage. Oh the irony.

that's odd. just a few months ago the anti-prop 8 faction was decrying a popular vote on this issue.
