Been under a wind advisory for two days now, sustained winds 30-40mph with gusts 70mph. And temps into the 80's. I HATE the wind and have been just miserable. Can't do a thing outside due to blowing dust, tree limbs...cows.

I just watched an EMT helicopter land in a very small space and it was an amazing feat. There was an overturned pick-up on the berm of the divided highway. Next to the highway is a small parkway and just past the parkway is a town street with utility poles along side the street. The parkway has several small trees. The pilot landed on the town street and was really close to the utility lines. Kudos to the EMT!
Sure hope the driver (and any passengers) who were air lifted to Tucson will be ok.
Not wanting to get into politics, but I am ready for Mordoc the alien robot to take over. On a lighter note, cold front came through finally, tonight's low forecast 25f and clear right now it's 38f. Just came in from taking the dogs on their 9pm walk. It's DARK, and I can see billions and billions of stars and the edge of the Milky Way.
