It is being done November 6 so I have a small wait. The procedure is called Mohs surgery.

I chose to see a different dermatologist and this is how he does it. Due to another problem I am having, I decided to change doctors.

Thank you for the well wishes.

My father had several MOHS surgeries on his face. It's time consuming, but usually has a better cosmetic effect.

Did anyone else get an odd deposit in their account from SS? Checked my account this morning and there's a pending deposit for $81.00. Any idea what that might be?

Over the past 4 years, my husband has had two Mohs surgeries on his face, and six other suspicious spots removed from his body. Currently using a med cream to remove two more. He is a swimmer and former surfer. Probably more to come, but they have slowed down. We are amazed at the progress made for removal of these cancers and precancerous liesions in the last few years. Fortunately later generations know the hazard of too much sun. Wishing NYgal success.

This will be the first Mohs surgery for me. I've had 2 or 3 other types on my face, 1 or 2 on one of my arms. I have a lot of weird bumps/marks on my body from all the sun I got as a younger person. Some of them the doctor calls "wisdom" marks. I've never liked that term.

Nope, but my luck doesn't work that way. I could buy some groceries with that.

The more I thought about it I do believe I got something like that last year. Had to do with my still working, or something. Hopefully I'll get a letter in the mail to explain it. Just wondering if anyone else got something similar. And, yeah, I can buy food with it too! That, and the $65 I have saved up from Walmart's Savings Catcher, should even help me to stock up a little.

We had a cold front pass through last night/this morning. Sky cleared up and beautiful afternoon of sunshine. Forecast is for patchy frost tonight and tomorrow night with sunny days. Leaves are turning bit by bit. Autumn really dragged its feet this year, but it has finally arrived for good! Pretty soon it will be time to put up the holiday wreath on the front door.

Best wishes NYGal !

Just got back from a short trip to Washington DC. Boy, am I old. Traipsed all over with 2 adult kids. Knees hurt. My back and neck are painful and we overdid it for sure. Got to see my old HS/college roomie in DE, so it was worth it. Going to DC is not for the faint of heart. Have to go take a nap...
