This law doesn't apply to felons. In one year, they will be granted possession of firearms back to them, and along with that all convictions of illegal possession going back years.

Of course, you, the legal law abiding s c h m u c k, will likely get a visit by the CA DOJ for maybe buying some reloading supplies.

Such is the Cali DNC.

Apparently there is a yiddish bad word filter... is that even for real?

Nope

DOJ and ATF have already pretty much scared up on what they consider ammo and a firearm. I've got a lifetime of components already as do about everyone I shoot with.

But I'm sure Gavin (hide ya wife) will think of this next when the current batch of new laws don't change crime stats. Layering useless laws upon useless laws. Sounds like a pattern doesn't it?

If a law isn't enforceable what the hell is it on the books for. Oh well, good news for Cabelas in AZ and NV. Sales will be booming.

So, if you haven't bought a gun recently it will cost you 100 bucks, a bunch of intrusive information and a month wait. Isn't that special.

But, if you have family driving over they can bring you all you want. Ridiculous.

I'm pretty sure both of those are wrong. The one time fee is $19, and receiving ammo from anyone not a dealer is against the law.

Your non resident family or friends can bring ammo for them to use, but not you.

(The above is NOT legal advice).

It's so vague it's ridiculous. The DOJ has been nearly silent.

Also, the firearms purchase may not trigger an alarm but the quantity of ammo you buy could. How many AR15 you own will trigger alarm? But several thousand rounds of ammo could.

I'm sure that is their goal but these people can't even run a DMV.

In another quirk of fate, the CA DOJ wants all residents to have a federally compliant Real ID driver's license to purchase ammo.

Seems giving out CA driver's licenses to every Tom, Dick, or Jose that wandered across our southern border, might have far reaching implications. I'm shocked, shocked I tells ya.

NYC is doing the same thing, thanks to Blah-zeo, just giving a DL to any loon with fake paperwork that strolls across the border. Imagine the next gun purchase escalation that the California DNC thinks up. You'll have to bring 3 notarized witness statements saying you are not a terrorist.

Millions of people streaming across the border illegally from Countries with no way of tracking who killed who. My old name is Bob Smith... wink wink. My new name is Bob Smith. I killed a bunch of people in Guatemala and I had to run. I had to run because it was unsafe for my family....

Here's your new DL. This State is insane. No criminal gives a rat fart about a gun law here.

Really what amazes me is the number of people that actually back this insanity. There is no way we can vet who these people are. Insane Insane Insane.

Again, why have laws at all, then? Why is it illegal to murder someone? Murder still occurs.
