I've been saying my goodbyes to everyone tonight. I'll miss a lot of these folks but everyone I've talked to plans to be at the RTR next year so we'll get together either then or we may come across each other somewhere down the line before then.

That's one of the beautiful things about this lifestyle, you all 'get' each other and no explanations are needed. I love that.

Yep, years ago our young'uns, my better half, & i made quite a few good friends when we were camping, fishing, exploring at places we frequently spent time at, like: Lake Camanche south shore/ CA Delta/ CA Aqueduct/ Lake Naciemiento/ San Antonio Lake/ Arroyo Seco/San Luis O'Neill Forebay, Galesville Res, etc
We have many wonderful memories... knowing some great folks.

Now I'm up in the air about leaving. The wind is crazy again. It's supposed to be better tomorrow but do I chance it to be true? Do I want to stay another day? Not sure. And it may be better once I leave. Just not sure.

Decisions, decisions.

Our weather meteorologists aren't always right but they are saying Grants Pass, Oregon, in southwest OR will have wind from 5-10 mph, light & variable for the next 10 days, at least.

Thanks. I'm heading out tomorrow. I know I will be going into colder temps but my heart is aching to see the ocean.

So, so looking forward to this.

I do have to say though, I've thoroughly enjoyed Pahrump. I'm probably going to make it one of my go to spots.

Medford looks warmest.

My Corbett, OR temps are similar to Brookings ... 56/44 w/ showers and 8-10 mph winds for next 10 days. By then I will be in SoCA, and Las Vegas (Pahrump weather) Currently enjoying my final day in Hill Country TX 84/74 + 25mph winds (rare), When the Bluebonnets dry up and wither, I head for GREEN forests. (and perpetual mowing) in PNW. Spring flowers are nice in PNW, but comes with cold and rain. July and Sept / October is my favorite time in PNW (Red sunsets due to forest fire smoke). But, August brings fresh berries and steelhead

It'll take me a while to get to Oregon. Hopefully it will be nicer or at least okay.

I did leave Pahrump and already miss it. I don't miss the wind though. Right now I'm at a place the trucks stop at. I was going to see if the casino had a buffet but there were signs everywhere that said not to leave pets in the car so I just got sandwich makings at the dollar store. No facilities here of course.

My next stop will be at a county park. Not sure what they have but there should be bathrooms. If it's nice I may stay a day or two.
