It should be clear that Paul, in the book of Galatians and in Acts chapter 15, fought against the concept that a person has to be circumcised and keep the law of Moses (essentially, become Jewish) in order to be saved.

If Paul was so staunch about the laws of Judaism, why did he tell Timothy that he would be faithful to sound doctrine if he encouraged believers to eat anything and everything; thus diminishing Jewish food laws (1 Timothy 4:1-6)?

He wrote there that every creature of God is good and nothing to be refused (1 Timothy 4:4).

This is clearly a violation of the Jewish food laws given in the Old Testament.

While the spirit of the law is in fact written on my heart (Hebrews 8:8-10, Romans 7:6), I find that if I were to attempt to obtain my righteousness through the keeping of the law, I would be under the curse (Galatians 3:10, James 2:10, Matthew 5:48).

That is why.

It's now 2,000 years later and still the war between law and grace goes on endlessly. Young sprouts in the word squeak out the words in red admonishing keeping the law while having no clue why they are there. The law was meant to drive people into the graceful arms of Jesus to save them........because eventually they knew they could never keep the law 100%. Read Romans 7 and see that even Paul had trouble with it.........if he did you will too............and ten years from now this will still be going on...........ad nauseum

Yes, the fight will continue to win people to the place in their lives of being saved by grace.

You don't think that it is worth the battle?

You are an embarrassment to Christianity, and are doing nothing to edify or encourage those already in the faith or those who would be drawn. Rather, you are only revealing your own ignorance, and lack of knowledge and understanding. You are not a good representative, nor anyone that others would follow. You remind me of someone who would belong to the Westboro Baptist hate group - condemning others to HELL while exalting yourself.

Is this one of your demonstrations of love, Jerwade? Maybe setting the example for JBF?

Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men’s faces.
You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let in those who wish to enter.… think about it, Charlie!

You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when you have succeeded.
You make them twice as much a child of hell as you are.... keep processing things, Charlie.

Have you ever met Satan? Maybe have a conversation here and there?

May the Lord abundantly bless you and receive you as a son.

I pray God will send His Holy Spirit of agape love to soften your heart and attune your Spirit to His. I pray you can eventually become the advocate of His love that you seem to think you are.
