You know, BF, you either believe Jesus is God or you do not. Jesus on the Cross revealed an unmistakable character of agape love and forgiveness. How you can believe the other things you do about God is beyond me!

You were told by Jesus that the Comforter (Holy Spirit) would be sent in His name to guide us to the Truth God has "written in our hearts," but you prefer to use the words "written in ink" which lead to death instead of the Spirit who leads to life. OUR ANCESTORS WERE WRONG or Jesus would NOT have been sent! You ignore everything He tried to correct about our ancestors' ignorant misunderstanding of God.
You continue to use their ignorant, primitive context of a wrathful, vengeful, God who needed to be appeased by blood sacrifices for our disobedience. You will never actually understand God using that context, but you refuse to use the agape love context unambiguously demonstrated by Jesus Christ. In your carnal mind, it is too "wimpy," "Hippie." and "panty-waisted." Sad, so very sad!

We are to separate the wheat from the chaff, the chaff holds the wheat until maturity - if you get rid of the chaff too soon the wheat is ruined
