First, West Bend is 40 miles and two counties north - with a lot of farmland in between - from downtown Milwaukee. West Bend is not only not a suburb of Milwaukee but a completely different world. No blacks out there. Zero. Any black who wanted to see him would have had to drive almost 80 miles round trip. How is that meeting people where they live?

Of course, blacks are allowed to attend, but it just so happens that venue was particularly not geared to encourage their attendance - nor would those in West Bend want them there. That's why they live in West Bend.

Now, Trump was in downtown Milwaukee earlier that day - w/Sheriff Clark - but steered quite clear of Sherman Park and other very nearby black neighborhoods (like 1-2 miles) which is where he should have gone if he really had a message for those folks.
Seems to me that he DOES have a message for them. And I think they're receiving it just fine.

They were split pretty evenly basically. I think if the trend moves towards him and is close before the election then he will likely win. The problem with having two unlikable candidates is that eventually people realize they how much they dislike the other parties nominee. The biggest issue for Clinton is that Democrats seem to be more likely to cast conscious votes for 3rd parties. Whereas Republicans will suck it up and vote for their nominee. In a close election this could easily give us a Trump victory. Then again this is not a normal election and a lot of voters are legitimately scared ****less of Trump. Could mean that some of the 3rd party will split towards her in the end. We will have a more steady picture in about a month though. If things are holding steady at the same rate then it's pretty unlikely Trump is going to win.

Chile yet he hasn't laid out a single plan other than saying the same talking points most republicans have been saying. The. You speak about black Americans in front of a majority white audience

It takes a certain kind of racist to think "gee, better not say I want to say here because we took a head count and there's not enough black people".

Is Hillary not allowed to make comments that address black issues while couped up in her million dollar mansion in a snow white 'hood?
Bush went to the blacks folks and laid out a plan for what he wanted to do for African Americans in need. Funding for HBCU schools went up during bush administration. Trump needs to speak directly to the people especially if they are calling for him to do so.

Where Trump really messed up in his campaign was not mentioning how Illegal Immigration impacts African Americans by taking jobs away, especially entry level jobs. And mentioning what Hillary Clinton has done to bring "Black men to heel" during the 90's.

The pandering to bigoted White nationalists which also a huge turn off for Black folks. It's so ironic David Duke is polling higher among Blacks than Donald Trump now.

The gwneral belief with Brexit was stay which is why it came as a surprise, but the general polling consensus had things much tighter and split

I can think of one thing AAs get with their vote- The ability to vote. Republicans sure don't want them to based on voting rights legislation in multiple states.
If blacks don"t have a job where do you think they have to go to eat????

Oh, for crying out loud. Bernie would be painted as a do-nothing senator who would raise taxes to pay for his socialist give-away programs.

Give it up.
