Obama is a Marxist/Socialist. He is a racist, who believes in "black liberation theology, and spent 20 years listening to his Pastor, Jeremiah Wright, preaching hatred toward America, and whites. If he wasn't in agreement with Wright, why did he continue to not only attend that church, he supported it with his dollars, and he also obtained grant money (US taxpayer dollars) for that church through an affiliate of ACORN.

Obama has said that he wants to "spread the wealth around". Do you know what that means? It means that he sees nothing wrong with confiscatory taxation of those who "earn" and "produce" and taking their money and giving it to those who did not earn it, nor do they produce anything.

This is socialism. And that only scratches the surface of who this guy is.

America is about freedom. Freedom to innovate, create wealth for one's self, and one's family, to make a better life.

Capitalism is what made us the richest, and greatest country in the world, with the highest standard of living. Why else do so many people desire to come here, even illegally? It is because they want what we have. Freedom, and a system where one can become whatever they dream to become to the extent that their intelligence and their drive will take them.

Obama sees this as greed. He seeks to punish the "rich", the very people that are providing jobs for others. Have you ever asked how many jobs someone like Bill Gates has provided for others, and how many people he has raised out of the "middle class"? Bill Gates (who never finished High School, I have read) started Microsoft in his garage. He is an example of someone who has lived the American dream.

Do you want to throw all that away?

Fine. Then vote for Obama. Let the government dictate how much you can earn, how much electricity you can use, what kind of car you can drive, how large a home you can have, what your health care needs are, and what you are allowed to say (thought police and the so-called "fairness doctrine")

You are extremely naive. You'd better find out quick what this guy is about, because you are not prepared to vote in any intelligent way.
Who are you, Sean Hannity? I knew he was on this forum somewhere....

Anyway, the problem with YOU is that you see everything negative about the man and run away with it.
All you see is what you hear on FOX News and say... "Yeah, he must be that guy. The media is telling me how to vote so that MUST be true."

I don't care what YOU think about how I vote. Just because YOU see a candidate a certain way doesn't mean I or anyone else should. Just becasue you're paranoid doesn't mean I have to be.

Now you must have just completely ignored my last post, which is fine. Call me an idiot all you want, it just proves that there really are two Americas.
Sorry, dude. But I'm not going to vote for someone who wants to keep fighting a war we shouldn't have fought in the first place. And I'm not going to vote for a "maverick" who just thinks we're headed in the right direction.

I'll say this and this is it. No more political posts until after the election....

YOU DON'T KNOW FOR SURE WHO WILL BE THE BETTER PRESIDENT. Every election is a coin flip.
And you talk about following someone blindly? How do you know McCain wont lead us straight to Hell?

PLEASE, enough with the fear and crying and just vote.

BTW, it's amazing how big people can feel...... on a computer.

This generation is better educated and enlightened than any before it, so I think we'll decide for ourselves, old timers.

The interesting thing in all of this is Obama has reached out to the college/young person age group. Here at the University of New Mexico, there are student-run booths selling Obama tshirts, passing out early voting fliers, and offering voting precinct information. Needless to say, these volunteers are enjoying themselves, blasting music, and just socializing with passing students. I didn't vote for Obama, but his campaign (and other student organizations which support him) has really made him seem hip and cool. Not once have I seen the College Republicans or the McCain campaign (et al) attempt to gain the student vote on our campus. Why would students vote for someone that isn't trying to win their vote? It's food for thought.

No he just means less ignorant all the way around. I think he is right and I am in my mid forties. The young vote is probably going to be one of the factors that tilts things in Obama's favor tomorrow. I thank them for that. My own kids too. They're awesome. And they use Myspace. Good for them, we had our fads too, and remember the old people then grumbling about them? I do. Which is why I try to have an open mind about such things.

When people openly want socialism and are asking for it there is nothing you can say that is going to change their mind. Obama stated yesterday he wants to have para-military "keeping the states safe". Are you kidding me? How much is Hilter being mirrored here. All these so-called educated people want the gimme gimme gimmie's, but don't want to look to where its coming from. They are taught a one-sided view of history. One professor of economy went so far as to teach that China is completely communisitic. Which of course we all know is not the case. Some economics professor huh? Like I said at the beginning of this post though, anything we say or do will not change the ones that openly want "their dues" or are "owed money". Plain and simple. I will just be the first to say, when Obama sends our countries major companies shipping out, or going bankrupt, when small businesses shut down due to high taxes, when Chavez, Kim Jung, and all the Islamic Terorists decide that the powers in office are pussys and attack us again, I Told You So.
