I'm also so sick of hearing "We're fighting a war we should've never been fighting in the first place" Honestly?? People are still asking this question?? Do you have no concept of "keep your friends close and your enemies closer?" So sad of you to disrespect the people that give their lives everyday so we have the ability to sit here and blog about which idiot we are going to have run the country, to vote, to not live in fear, by stating that comment. Sorry for ya, but even if Obama gets into office, he won't be pulling out of Iraq anytime within the next two years...I guarantee you on that one....Most Senators, have no clue of what the heck is going on with the military, so they will just say whatever they can to get elected.

Look what happened last time we kept our enemies closer. I seem to remember to big planes, 2 falling buildings and chaos. The American enemies are the American people, especially the Southerners who still fly the Confederate flag like their war hasnt ended!

Default the Obamabots

Good post about president hopenchange and the inexperienced dopes that cheer for him. This country is lost. Too many grew up with too much safety in a sterilized, vapid environment. My ten year old has never been in a fight or even seen a fight. His safety and the safety of his friends has never been compromised. His friends split their time between the video games/facebook and their organic frozen dinners. Most people from the suburbs age 5-25 share this experience. These are the Obamabots. Outside of what is rammed down their throat from media or the liberal schools they lack any meaningful life experience. In that complete void liberal education/TV has filled their heads with poison. The yuppie parents educated in the same schools share the opinion. They all think alike yet they all are assured that they have an enlightened yet unique point of view. Where were these people on Knickerbocker ave Bushwick Brooklyn 1977 to see hope and change in action? At every turn in my life the meddling of the federal government has screwed up things in my life. From federally backed mortgage loans that destroyed my Bushwick, to the government programs that rewarded sloth and made working class New York a cultural sewer, to the federally backed mortgage loans that created this financial meltdown. Now the inexperienced morons who do not pay attention are voting for more government programs and intervention. Education has not made up for their lack of experience. The lemmings remain completely clueless and are doomed to destruction.

No, but I'll take the complement.

Actually, I get news from many sources, and only watch a couple of hours (if that) of Fox News every day. Various Internet sources have been reporting on who Obama is for at least the last year, because the so-called "main stream" press won't do it. I don't remember who first reported about the radical "black liberation" church he attended for 20 years and obtained the audio clips of Jeremiah Wright damning America. It was early in the campaign, and Hillary was still in it, and at the time she was ahead of Obama in the polls. I believe it was her campaign that turned up the audio of Jeremiah Wright.

The point is, this isn't something that has just been uncovered at the end of the campaign.

Do you not think that the political ideology of one who is running for President of the United States, and asking for our vote is important to know? I'd like to have assurance that that person believes in liberty, and will defend my right to property, and other rights as defined in our founding documents. I'd like to know that the person I'm voting for will defend the Constitution, and that that document means as much to him as it does to me.

We have no such assurances with Obama. In fact, we find that he does not share these ideals. Further, we find that he believes the Constitution is a "flawed document". Those are his words. He does not believe in the idea of "limited government". On the contrary, he believes that government should play a larger roll in our lives.

His associations with people like William Ayers (and these were really close relationships; Ayers was not "just some guy in the neighborhood"), a domestic terrorist are indeed important. Why? Because they tell us who Obama is. Obama worked with Ayers to promote socialist ideas in schools.

These things are not lies. They are all well documented facts about Obama. It is important to know these things if we are to vote from an informed position, and not just following some warm fuzzy feeling we may have.

Freedom is a precious thing. We could too easily lose it if we do not know whom we are voting for.

It's not that I see Obama in a "certain way". It is that Obama is who he is. He is a Socialist, who has studied (and admires) Karl Marx. His ideas for "change" in America are socialist to the core. Obama simply does not believe in the ideas of liberty. He believes in government. He believes that government should play a larger roll in our lives. This is diametrically opposed to what our founders believed.

Sorry, dude. But I'm not going to vote for someone who wants to keep fighting a war we shouldn't have fought in the first place.
Sometimes wars have to be fought to defend our liberty. That is why the war is being fought. And it is important that we win.

We have been headed in the right direction. Lower taxes are the "right direction". Defending liberty is the "right direction". Limited government is the "right direction" (and one of our founding ideas as spelled out in the Constitution which Obama says is "flawed"). Energy independence and promoting the growth of our own oil and gas industries (and coal) is the "right direction"
  • Bankrupting an entire industry (coal, as Obama has said) is the WRONG DIRECTION.
  • Confiscatory taxation and transfer of wealth is the WRONG DIRECTION.
  • Government telling us what kind of light bulbs we can use and how much electricity we may use is the WRONG DIRECTION.
  • Government provided health care is the WRONG DIRECTION
  • Dismantling of our military and ending further research and development of our weapons systems is the WRONG DIRECTION (Governments primary purpose, according to the Constitution is to provide for the common defense — It cannot do this without the most advanced weapons our technology can provide).
These are just a few of the things that Obama stands for.

How truly sad that you see it that way, and you don't place any more importance on an election than that.

I think I just laid out the issues. I don't think that is "blind". You, on the other hand, do not know the issues, and are ignoring the facts.

All these so-called educated people want the gimme gimme gimmie's, but don't want to look to where its coming from. They are taught a one-sided view of history. One professor of economy went so far as to teach that China is completely communisitic. Which of course we all know is not the case. Some economics professor huh? Like I said at the beginning of this post though, anything we say or do will not change the ones that openly want "their dues" or are "owed money". Plain and simple. I will just be the first to say, when Obama sends our countries major companies shipping out, or going bankrupt, when small businesses shut down due to high taxes, when Chavez, Kim Jung, and all the Islamic Terorists decide that the powers in office are pussys and attack us again, I Told You So.
The echo boomers were up in arms about Bush and the Patriot Act, but this stuff Obama is supporting is 100x worse. That para-military idea sounds like he's wanting a police state. I can understand the Ron Paul mania, but Obama just doesn't make sense.

What someone asked me the other day was "if Obama wants a civilian force who would it be? Would it be Louis Farakan and the Muslim Nation? They're already trained in weapons and tacticts"
I gotta admit it did make me chuckle....

Actually senators like Joe Biden have pretty high access to classified information, so they know a lot more (or should know a lot more at least) than your average citizen and your average soldier.
