First of January in Kiev.
This is the so-called country that wants to *integrate Donbass* and demands Crimea back.

A large number of Ukrainians want donbass cast away forever. The farther west you go, the more this is true. Crimea is more of a pride thing. It is of no value to them.

Right.
The only question is, how "father West" and how "father East" you need to go, in order to realize that these are two different *countries,* and where they are going to bust at their seams.
That, and the time frame.

Simply split the country into east and west. Use the Dneipre river as the border. Kiev stays east. Let the westerners have their own country as they have had in the past. They can be slaves to Poland and the Austrohungarians again. Just like old times.

I believe Donetsk and luhansk Oblast should be given their independence. But the problem is most there don't agree with this. A fair vote would not produce this outcome. Spinning them off would also not be in putin's interest so the likelihood is even smaller.

I specifically do not give you a link to Russian sources, and then you will say again that this is Putin's propaganda

Gas transit. Not gas supplies. They are two different things. Not my fault if English isn't your best understanding.

After the settlement of all mutual requirements, it is planned to sign a contract on direct deliveries. So they will sign, they will not go anywhere.
