Well I watched about half of this and understood some 40%-50% of it (isn't this pure Russian btw, it's not Ukrainian??). Anyway, he says it: "Я хочу просто правда" - I'm not saying he is the greatest hero yet you have a defiant comedian vs a KGB spy who is best friend with corrupt oligarchs and is as of today guilty of war crimes. It's obvious who has the morale high ground.
Yes he stopped clowning and switched to his native Russian here, but while you are talking about "KGB spy friend of corrupt oligarchs ( all true BTW,) you forget to mention that "defiant comedian" is a convenient coverup for the very unsavory Nationalist state with very unsavory Nationalist thugs that run it. ( I don't even mention the oligarchy of Ukraine that they serve, or corrupt politicians. Even they are the lesser evil under the circumstances if you ask me.)
So what "truth" are you talking about - I have no idea.
I wouldn't trust this image of "quiet" this morning - not yet.
Russian news are reporting it's bad over there, so obviously it's bad, plus I've heard yet another blogger yesterday how heavily they've been pounded, he sounded downright desperate, so I am VERY concerned specifically for Kharkov ( ditto for any Donbass city, but Kharkov is away from Donbass.)
I heard on the news the Ukrs have wounded two Chinese that were trying to leave the city. ( They said during the emergency session in the Ministry of Defense ( in Russia) that there are 3,189 Indians, up to 2,700 Vietnamese and 200 Chinese trapped in the city. ( They repeat it here actually too..)
Another thing, is as the rumor has it, Avakov arrived to Kharkov - the main curator of the Nationalists so they are guessing what's the purpose of his visit - to give the *moral support* to these thugs or to signal retreat.
Because they are the ones that threatened the regular Ukrainian troops if they try to put their weapons down. ( I mean we've already heard about them killing the regular Ukr. troops.)
There are a lot of such videos from different authors. I live about 100 km (about 60 miles) away from Kharkov. In a straight line, probably less
Yes, yesterday there was a very strong battle, we heard cannonade all day.But the battle was not in the city itself, but somewhere nearby, in the suburbs. We are also all worried about Kharkiv residents here, half of them have relatives there.
Of course, Ukrainian television shows that there are just some foundations left, but thank God this is not so.
What I see on the video is the broken buildings of the administration, the police, the headquarters of the department. Energy buildings and city services are intact . Unfortunately, about 10 arrivals to residential buildings and thieves. maybe a little more, but I don't see it.They show mostly the same places many times and from different sides.
Who got hit and from which side the shells came (from the south of the AFU or from the north of the Russian Army), I can't say yet. We'll find out later. All the places are known and it will not be difficult to find out what flew from where.
In the meantime. the explosion of ammonium nitrate in Beirut was already presented to us here as an explosion in Kharkov, then as an explosion in Kiev.Or in general, the footage from Donetsk was given out for what is happening now.

I used to listen to this particular blogger from Kharkov - he was describing things fairly well from the location, and was liked by many, but after this puzzling and ( to be honest chilling) video, his reports disappeared.
From what I understand, the Nationalists are after him, so he feels that his family is threatened at this point.
This, of course, will not be understood by the usual peanut gallery here "Ukraine is democratic country" har-har. Ukraine good, Russia bad."

Unlike the days of the Soviet Russia, today’s world has much wider use of satellite TV as well as satellite internet access. While Putin is dragging Russia back to Soviet level of control over the people, the people have access to more alternative sources for news and information. Putin may shut down news sources he doesn’t approve inside Russia, he cannot shut down news sources from outside Russia that enters the country through satellite sources.
I noticed a few thousand Ukrainians have fled to Russia since the war started.
Suesbal...
Ukrainian Nationalists ( and those brainwashed by them by now) RABIDLY hate Russians. The majority of them are from the Western part of Ukraine ( but not all.)
The rest of Ukrainians are either;
A. Leftovers from the Soviet times that want to be in the same country with Russians again, OR people that are simply tired of this Nationalist BS that Western Ukraine was imposing on them for the last seven years, so they feel safer with Russians.
OR they simply consider themselves "Russians" - whether they are ethnic Russians or Ukrainians - doesn't matter. This is quite typical for the South-Eastern regions. ( Because when asked repeatedly what's the difference between "Ukrainians and Russians" - they couldn't tell the difference.
B. People that have to make choice between Putin and the Nationalists.
So don't listen to the Western propaganda that is trying to paint Ukrainians as some "separate state unrelated to Russians, that this "alien force" - these aggressors, the Russians, attacked.
Truth to be told, that even during the fall of the Soviet Union, in one and only referendum of the Soviet people, 70% of Ukrainians voted to stay with the Russians ( except for the Westernmost regions of course, that refused to participate in the referendum.)
Ukraine changed its mind and voted to break away from Russia only after the attempted coup-d-etat in Moscow, when the hard-liners ( read KGB) tried to remove Gorbachev.
But they will never tell you the WHOLE story in Western media - only that "Ukrainians voted to separate from Russia after the fall of the Soviet Union."
Ukrainians of course, always being "on the fringes" of the Russian Empire, are more independent in their thinking than in "Russia proper." And they are more "socialist" and folksy by their very disposition than the "Moscovites."
So I am getting more popcorn waiting for the time, when Putin and Co will find themselves surrounded by Ukrainians in the West, and Ukrainians in the East, since tonnes of them live in Siberia/Russian Far East too.
( Who do you think was protesting there en mass, when their governor was forcibly removed by Kremlin in Khabarovsk?)
Plus you already saw the images of protests in Donbass, when people raise and unite like one.
THAT's the real power of the Russian people manifested, not some screeching of the hip youngsters in Moscow, led by some Navalny.
