It had an unintended result ( for me.)
Her account of events kind of proved the point I had doubts about sometimes, that people of Donbass didn't want indeed has anything to do with Maidan and new Kiev's government.

And yes, people are aware that the rebels don't have planes.
On their toes....so far all's quiet on the Western front...good that they're paying attention....hopefully Europe will see through Rossiyan deception...

And yes, people are aware that the rebels don't have planes. But Russia has.
Okay, who's boat was it? My daughter blew up some frames and I'll be damned if the silhouette doesn't look like an SU-24. Hard to tell for certain though. Where did this happen? I have nothing on the location.
I spoke with a guy on the phone who lives in Espoo, about 15km west of Helsinki. He woke up this morning to the sound of the Hornet jets. It's a loud noise.
Finland is stepping up the defence.
At the same time residents of the capital area reported several sightings of Hornet jets Friday afternoon.
Good and all, but Finland's military is pretty weak compared to Russia's. While Finland would give initial resistance, Finland does not have enough arms to combat a full Russian assault for a conventional war. A couple hundred tanks, not even 100 combat aircraft, a few dozen heavy artillery; Finland would not stand much of a chance against Russia in a conventional sense.
But anyway, useless posturing because Russia has absolutely zero interest in Finland; are domestic politics at play? I good outside enemy is always a great diversion for domestic issues, especially when an opposing party can make the ruling party look "weak", or vice versa.
I never understood the concept of flying a few jets, floating a round a few ships, as some sort of posturing for any country.
I read on the main stream news that the rebels hit a Ukrainian boat, Kiev confirmed and is exploring ways to rescue the boat that has been disabled; no mention of an aircraft striking the boat.

You either read that it was (A) artillery, (B) they don't know what had sunk the ship, or (C) that it was sunk by fighter jets. Option (C) would be the equivalent of directly accusing Russia, so I guess the Ukrainian authorities and the West are quite vary of doing so.
Considering the above video, though, where you see two fighters overflying the vessel followed by a big bang... well...
Some of my Russian friends maybe won't like what I'm saying (and the Ukrainians also, but they are used to my criticisms) : the future of these territories should be this :
-Crimea and Donbass are russian and don't want to hear about Ukraine ; so let them be russians, that's called in international law "the free determination of peoples".
- However the rest of Ukraine in its majority wants to remain ukrainian, more than that, they want to build a "pure" ukrainian nation, with ukrainian official and only language, ukie traditions, etc, and freedom to associate with whatever states or group of states or organizations they want (even UE and NATO) : let them do that!
and please, Svoboda and Pravyi sektor : instead of slaughterin foreign natgionals in Novorussia, go back to Kiev, stage a coup and topple the Oligarchs and traitors right now in power!
