Donetsk railway station was shelled with Einsatzgruppen heavy artillery, a lot of damage but no civilian casualties. Shirokino saw heavy exchanges of artillery, mortar and small arms fire. NAF says 5 wounded. Gorlivka suburbs were shelled by Ukrainian tanks possibly as many as 20. In Debaltsevo the bakery is running again, 1400 loaves a day will be distributed to citizens in need within the city and surrounding areas. They're understaffed and the workers are said to be on the job 16 hours a day. The city is pretty beat up and still not functioning properly.
Re:'Whether government and/or media, every place has its lies and spin, some are more extreme than the other. While the media lies is not excusable in Russia, it should not be excusable anywhere regardless if it is sponsored by the government for reasons of trying to sway its population, or by the media for trying to gain ratings, or a combination of both'
You know on that it would appear that Putin has understood the power of media to collectivize opinion to his way. You can bet it's understood with various media entities that they play it in his way or it's the highway. The outlets are already pre-programmed to spout his spin. Add to that all those who cry , Watch out for the fifth column!!!!' This certainly affects the 'news' people get in Russia. If we're talking who's in who's pockets Putin has the squeeze on to a much greater extent in the West.
And anyway when people 'walk' into a country what is the issue with reporting it as an invasion???

I goggled Invasion, if US sponsored Maidan, you can also say that US invaded Ukraine...
Right now you are bothering me, I have no interest in gays. You bring the subject up in the thread that relates neither to Russia or gays. In a civilized would they would fine you for spreading gay propaganda where minors could be !

I think we are still invading Iraq though...
No, the difference is the US installed government (how convenient) has invited the US in. However, the air attacks in Syria along with the training of anti-Assad forces could be construed as an invasion, just as the training and support for Donbass rebels by Russia could be construed as an invasion.
If you notice, the US will not state Russia is invading Ukraine, why? Because that would open the barn door on activities the US does.
Additionally, for all the talk about hundreds of tanks and thousands of troops, there has been no evidence presented of this, other than the absurd presentation Petro made holding some passports. People seem to forget that even the Ukraine SBU late last year announced there were no Russian troops, until they "clarified" there comments. Given the condition of Ukraine's armed forces, if there had been thousands of troops and hundreds of tanks and other heavy weapons, the armed part of this conflict would have been over long ago. Ukraine is giving themselves way too much credit thinking they are holding off an invasion by Russia, the same Russia that cleaned Georgia's US trained plate in a few days.
Also, this whole aid convoy thing; if Russia truly controlled the border and can pass thousands of troops and hundreds of tanks through without so much a picture, then why all the BS issues with getting aid convoys through? Why the BS over if the convoys have aid or weapons, when Russia can just send the stuff through without any check or notice as they did with their troops and weapons?
The entire line Ukraine spouts off makes no sense; on one hand Russia is disguising weapons as humanitarian aid, on the other hand Russia controls the border and send troops and heavy weapons. No real evidence of either one. One picture of a tank here and there, and a few Russian soldiers is hardly evidence of thousands of troops and hundreds of tanks and heavy weapons; it is not like that stuff is not noticeable.

I have no doubt that has been supporting the rebels, how and how much there is simply no facts. The border with Ukraine can be monitored via satellite, yet I have not seen any credible proof that there is a large number of Russian tanks crossing the border.
Roomer has it, that Russians are hiring people, like mercenaries. I think they offer like $50k for the war. So if you have combat experience driving a Russian tank, they will give you a tank with your contract.
There is so much propaganda, that facts are hard to come by .
