I once read that we see our selves as more attractive in our heads. Mirrors also don't help because they reverse your face, so the face you see in the mirror is not the face everyone else sees.
Average-looking women who think they are God's Gift to men.
Also, i am noticing a number of extremely attractive women who have no idea how good looking they are.
I'd say you hit the nail right on the head. All of the female 6's and 7's I know think they're 10's. Conversely all of the 9's and 10's [singular actually, I only know one 10] think they're 6's and immediately get shy and nervous when you mention how extremely beautiful they are. It's probably due to a bit of short mans syndrome on the part of the average or less than average women.
Men are a different story. Most of my friends are average looking, not fat and not skinny, and dont think about their looks one way or another however I do have a close friend that is super good looking, about 6'3" 200 with like 14% body fat and is very aware of his attractiveness to women.
I think people have a very realistic view of their own attractiveness, hence the widespread use of alcohol. Anyhow, the very first words out of my dad's mouth upon meeting my long term g/f I have now were "how in the hell did you get her?' At first I was offended, but it's pretty much what I thought to myself years earlier when I won her over.

You can always use two mirrors, and be able to see your face the way others see it. I think some people have realistic view of their own attractivness and some, not so much. I find myself attracting all types of women nonstop, but it isnt due to my above average looks or the fact that im in great shape, but because of my personality and how i interract and relate to them.
Either way, i've had enough rejection... i'm packing it up and ordering a Russian bride if things don't get better soon.
I'd do that anyway if I lived in Philly. I was there for work for about a month in 10' and kept trying to figure out where all the thin people and beautiful women were hiding. There is no talent on that team. Maybe I'm spoiled living in Denver and Phoenix where everyone seems to be in shape and hot women abound.

Or maybe surveilance cameras. But the mirror isn't that different other than reversing your face. It's not like you look in the mirror and see Johnny Depp, when you actually look like Quasi Moto.
I am just average plain Jane-ish. I don't really notice about what other women are doing, like in the OP, but I have seen it talked about on here......
I don't go around thinking I am some Gods gift and I don't put men down...thats just...weird.

Hot women abound in Denver? Thats news to most that have lived there.
