Agreed here. The sex we can easily get isn't even guaranteed to even be good, since chances can be high the random guy is just gonna wanna get in, get off, and get out, with no extras, unless they want a bj. I've said this over and over again on here, but a lot of the guys on here completely disregard it and say women still have it easier. If it was so simple as to "get laid," pretty sure I would've had a boyfriend by now. Fact is, those guys I liked didn't like me and just wanted to sleep with me, like that's something to be proud of.
Yes it is true not all women want serious relationships, but a good majority do. It is incredibly hard to find someone you can love and it's even harder to find someone who loves you back. I don't care about casual sex because it is pointless for me. I don't want to settle for half, or put myself in a situation that could possibly be emotionally damaging.

Hmmm.....I'm 33 years old and I've never had sex with a woman before, so when I actually talk to someone that's the last thing I'm getting at.
I would not say I have given up but I am sort of apathetic about dating in general, since it just consumes so much of my time and energy just dealing with the ******** that comes with trying to pick up women at clubs, bars, dating websites, etc. Honestly I am at the point where I just think it is a huge waste of time.
