Used different data points, hospital admissions from/precipitated by Covid, vaccine efficacy at preventing or minimizing severity of symptoms, vaccine side effects, morbidity, mortality. I don't use a single point but many to try and paint a complete picture. As I said, the choice will always be an individual one.

Is there trial / comparison data for the results for the updated vaccines from Pfizer, Moderna and Novavax?

I think a lot of the problem is lack of data, reporting has basically stopped, aside from hospitalizations and deaths (which IS good info).

Our numbers are low, but all my doctors are saying they've seen a large increase in cases, both with GPs and the emergency rooms.

Exactly! Which is why the data sources have to be very varied, and global! Right now, I have chosen to watch and wait. Not advocating that everyone should do this.

H and I got our flu vaccine and the latest Covid shot on Tuesday. No issues with either except a bit of a sore arm. We are heading to Europe in a couple of weeks and wanted to be protected before traveling. A friend just returned from Europe and has Covid for the second time.

We got our flu shots and the new RSV shot before heading to Croatia for two weeks. We are back now and feel fine. All I can say is I recommend everyone get all the protection you can before traveling. Travel is super fun, but there is a lot of disease out there.

Had both flu vaccine and Covid booster yesterday, same arm. Arm got sore pretty fast, still sore but not debilitating. A little tired today, but again, nothing that’s stopping me in my tracks. My housemate isn’t feeling it at all.

As of this morning the COVID-19 booster is not yet available at the local health department.

Ours was provided through a one day immunization clinic where the two vaccines and the health personnel were flown over so that everyone in our remote community who wanted them could get it done with. (And probably so that we’d all quit bugging our little local rural health center with calls asking, do you have it in yet?)

I noticed a big sign at one of the locally owned Pharmacies I passed by today that they had Ivermectin available OTC; no prescription needed. I guess I didn't realize that it was still in vogue for treating Covid.
