Yes, we heard the Costco people announcing that new requirement as we entered (with our masks on properly) their store last week. Have not been inside an HEB since early March.

Managed to get my prescriptions filled over the phone, didnt have to go into the clinic or get any testing done. Quite happy about that.

Interesting. On my way into HEB last week, a lady without a mask was stopped and told she needed a mask to enter. The employee offered a compromise and allowed her to use her cardigan she was wearing as a makeshift mask. This was Tuesday of last week. I'll return to HEB within the next week, so I'll be on the look out for their mask policy.

I will get a free mask today!
All I have to do is show up and spend three hours at the surgery center to have my retina surgery done this morning. Lol

They do provide one as soon as I walk in. They won’t allow my homemade mask.

Laser surgery?

I got cataracts when I was 13 btw. I had to have them cut out and replace with plastic lenses. Every decade or so they will fog up and I will have to get laser treatment done so I can continue to see.

Already had both eyes done for cataracts in January, but the left one still has a discombobulated retina. This procedure has been delayed since March, so it’ll be a relief to get it fixed.
Wife is not even allowed in the building, so it is a drop off & pick up deal.

Good to know they ar3 taking extra precautions.

Our housekeeper is back today after an absence of two months. She’s wearing a mask and using all bleach products for the first time. Molly Maids was really great about allowing customers to drop service until they were comfortable having them return. It sure hurt these ladies.

We’re hiding out on our back porch while she cleans today out of embarrassment of how messy our house had become. lol.

Yeah, not sure when will start that up again. She has been coming to our house for 13 years now and we went to her daughters college graduation some years back . She went through chemo last year and not sure when or if she should be back out and about and we don't want to pressure her into going back to work. We have been paying 1/2 her regular fee in the meantime, not sure what else to do. Hopefully her stimulus check makes up the difference.

Hahaha. I used to teach preschool, so hand sanitizer and I are old friends.

I think they just changed it after the governor's announcement that it couldn't be enforced. A friend's son works at the one in Four Points, and they are no longer requiring masks.
