Yes, go to the southern parts of the country where there's NEVER been any recorded instances of racism or violence and killings due to racism. Should move to Garfield Park area of Chicago or anything before 6 Mile Road in Detroit. No racial tension there, and you should be safe.

Not a movie, but Hawk in Spenser for Hire had to be one of the coolest characters at the time.

Many of the movies about people in Boston have been about Irish people because at this point Irish people are a big part of Boston history i guess. I mean ask Martin Scorcese if he plans to ever do a movie about black/cape verde gangs. Perhaps one day someone will. But right now these old irish gangs get a lot of notoriety and people clearly want to hear these stories. That doesnt make boston racist folks.

The black population in Suffolk County leaped from 21.6% in 2010 to 25% in 2016. That is a massive jump. Any one know the reason for this? Immigrants from Africa & Caribbean?

Meanwhile in that time period the Non-hispanic white population shrunk from 48.1% to 45.8% (as it is doing everywhere in America). Hispanics rose from 19.9% to 22.5% and Asians from 8.2% to 8.9%.

A lot of people that have never been to the Boston area have this totally outdated misconception from the media, hollywood or whatever that Boston is this preppy white or Irish-American city. Hasn't been that for a loooooong time. It's becoming a black/hispanic city (57.5%) very quickly.
