I would love to be making a beautiful Father's Day dinner, but my dad lives in another country and DH is working overseas. I decided to mostly take the day off and bought some grass fed organic beef franks and will serve with rolls & grilled onions. I will also make a tomato, cucumber and feta salad as a side. Strawberry rhubarb pie ice cream for dessert. My kids are especially happy with that last part.
I made fresh pico de gallo for hubby, which he really likes, and gave him a gift card and reservations for Ruth's Chris steakhouse for dinner, but we felt like staying home, so I made some American Chop Suey instead.
Hamburger hash (ground beef, red potato, onion, corn cut off the cob, cream of mushroom soup, spices, and little cheese) and left over steamed broccoli
