Yesterdays pork roast with stone ground mustard spent almost too much time on the rotisserie but it was awesome - crunchies for everyone, mashed potatoes with garlic chives, pan fried small tomatoes, mushroom gravy, salad.
SO asked for hamburger. Potatoe salad, patties stuffed with cheese, fresh bread. I will not make it to the store or bake buns!
We are going to daughters to watch the Arkansas football game this afternoon. I am taking pig in the blanket only made with crescent rolls and chicken brats. I am also taking buffalo wings. I think we are having a few other appetizers, a salad and pizza. Though we will be home by about 6pm we certainly will not want dinner.
It is quite warm here so tonight just cheese/egg/radish/cucumber and tomato sandwiches,green and red grapes,crackers,dill pickles,pearl onions,green olives and also Wasa crackers. To drink beer/wine or lassi. Later on with coffee/tea an apple cake I baked today.
Haven't posted in a few but it's been ravioli's thurs night, last night a sub as there was no way in hell i was cooking after the work week i had (12 hours days starting at 4 am)..
Feeling back to normal today and having a NY Strip on the grill with a side of veggies and maybe some fries. Making a Caesar salad for tomorrow with grilled chicken.
And back to a normal work schedule next week and hopefully back here more frequently! Be well, enjoy your weekend and Happy Eats!
