Summer is gone again here. Tonight is a fall and winter meal for us. Roast beef, gravy, mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli and a loaf of rosemary bread.
I have a pork roast marinating in a miso-ginger marinade. I will roast it with apple and onion wedges. On the side I will probably serve sweet and sour red cabbage and Japanese rice.
Raddiatore (yes, little radiators!) tossed with Italian sausage, dried tomatoes, zucchini and parmesan. Chewy rolls and bleu cheese, greens, tomato salad.
Last night was supposed to be salmon, but I grabbed the wrong thing and we ended up with chicken moray, made with chicken breast, so tonight is the Salmon with pasta for spoiled brat and green salad. Last night we didn't have a green salad, we had cottage cheese and veggies together. I will probably do something with the asparagus I bought last week. It wasn't too fresh even then, so might not be any good. I will use what I can and toss the rest.
