Living in So Cal, southwest cuisine is always a popular choice for us so I grilled top sirloin steaks, and southwest style corn and my own special style of ranch beans. For the corn I charred it on the grill and seasoned it with chili powder, garlic powder, salt and butter. For the beans I sauteed onions and garlic in a pot, then threw in chorizo and sauteed it, and then threw in canned Ranch Beans and seasoned with chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, a little bit of tapatio and ketchup. Best meal I've made so far this month.

Today is housekeeper coming day, eat breakfast out day, shop and run errands day and football game afternoon. I have decided just to fix fish sandwiches and eat the left over potato salad from the other day.

I am going to bread and fry porkchops, make baked potato and fix fresh pole beans. I am on a diet so that is why baked....instead of mashed potato. The package had 4 chops but I think I will only cook myself one and freeze the extra. I am trying so hard to be good.

My diet is portion control and reduced fats and carbs and of course a walking regimen!

Soup is good food! I hope you and yours kick the crud to the curb quickly.

No idea what's for dinner here. DH is lobbying for chicken salad sandwiches.

Running around like crazy all day and my brain is fried from planning Thanksgiving dinner. My most wonderful husband (and I mean it this time, no sarcasm!) is making nachos for us tonight and homemade chicken tenders, smiles and carrot sticks for the little ones.
