Brooklyn needs to calm down lol too much crime for 1 day so the next time some one says crime is down just show them the gothamist newsmap which is even worse on weekend.
Just in my hometown alone, within the last 5 years: high schoolers sodomize football players at a football camp, my ex-boyfriend gets his tires stolen from his car 3x at the train station, then starts riding his bike and gets that stolen, 2 brothers pushed a gentleman in front of a train after an altercation, robberies like you would not believe, high schoolers caught with knives at school, a swastika is painted on an elementary school, a district teacher rapes a high school student
I can go on & on. Point is, I don't remember hearing about this stuff so massively when I was younger as I do now. Maybe I am more aware now, who knows, but it's getting bad. It is sad to see once a nice place, turn into crap.
LI has gotten worse because outpriced people from the queens ghettos move there.
