If anybody has been seeing the gothamist map lately there has been a bunch of shootings in Harlem the past couple of days.

Yea, crime tends to go up when the temperature goes up.

Well this is no coincidence I hear the shootings are drug related and retaliations.

Ironically, it's been a rather cool, and damp summer.. Imagine what the stats would be like if it were 95 and triple H's every day

I agree with you but at the same time the bad parts are just as bad as anywhere else if not worse.

Well, I always say.. just because other people have it worse, doesn't make your problems any less serious.. so just because a lot more people might get murdered in Chicago or Detroit.. doesn't mean that the possibility of it happening somewhere in NYC, though smaller, is something to laugh at.

There was probably more than that but the people who report those crimes to gothamist probably have an actuall job to do on the weekdays.
