Twice a week I have to drive almost an hour to the ASU West Campus. One night, the light flashed 4 times. And no, I didn't speed all four times. Since I know they are installed I am very careful of my speed limit. Only one of the 4 times, I was going 77 in a 75; the others I was under. If I get a ticket for the 2 miles over, seems kind of petty, espcially since it's very easy to push on the accelerator and go slightly over when going over a hill. Anyway, that's beside the point. The point I AM trying to make is driving at night and getting flashed so many times is a hazard in it of itself. I don't doubt for a second that an accident is going to occur because of the bright flash.

No - it was debated at the legislature - and there was a lot of public input - pro and con.

The Legislature passed a bill giving the authority for the cameras.

It would be impossible to put every little thing on the ballot for the public to vote on - That is why we have a representative form of government

The people.

Evidently, you are not an Arizona voter - for, if you were - you would have noted that the issue was not on the ballot. Also, you would have known about the vigorous debate in the legislature.

However, if you are so concerned about the speed camera's - it would seem that you are concerned because you speed.

If you do not want a ticket - don't speed.

See how simple the REAL answer is?
