That what we prefer to do when theists ask us to define God. That's really for the other side to do.
I did not ask anyone to define God. The poster responded to a post referencing the natural world. The poster responded with remarks about a progressive society; thus, I asked what was the poster's definition of 'the natural world'?

I'm not pointing the finger at anyone. I'm putting the 'rule' down so whoever asked what someone thinks about this or that has to duty of defining what they mean by it. Sort out between you who is asking what.
Should God have left behind more evidence than just a Book?
That book was compiled and edited by the Council of Nicea way back in 325. It's been modified heavily many times since, but still claims to be "the unalterable word of the all-knowing, all-powerful god" that thinks the middle east is the best place on earth.

To make it official, you should put this^ over on the A/A forum... alongside the other rules/definitions you've helped to draft.
The same question is on you now, what if you find out that you were wrong and in fact there IS a God out there?
Then I guess I could be in trouble...but what if that god turns out to be Ganesha. Then I guess you're in as much trouble as me ...right? Perhaps you even more so. I mean, I might be able to argue that it was perfectly logical to be a non-believer in gods when I had seen no verifiable evidence for the existence of gods. You on the other hand could be in deep do-do because you were a god-believer ... and you chose to worship the wrong one. Ooooops!
One of the things that non-believers, and even some of us believers are always going to question, is why do we just have a book left behind?
As somebody who is moderate theist and deep thinker, I would like everyone to be on the same page and facing the same unbiased judgement at the end of their time on Earth.
I don't believe that other Religions, ie non-Bible believers, or non-believers are doomed, nor should they be.
What are your thoughts?
You mean, like men who walked with Jesus who then taught other men? A church? Testimony of changed hearts? That sort of thing?
