I am a 56 yr old female and have been divorced for 20 years. Spent those years raising the kids and have not really had any desire to even date. Sad, i know. Am perfectly happy without a man, would definitely never remarry. Been married twice and dated when I was younger and realized I just can't pick them. They got worse as I got older. Would be afraid the next one would be a Ted Bundy lol Although it would be nice to have a friend to do things with but oh well
To those of you who were happily married and lost your spouses -- I feel for you. It's very hard to lose a loving and beloved spouse, and you never really ever quite get over it, even if you're happily remarried to someone else. I hope all of you are doing well.
We have been married for over 42 years, and get along fine.
If anything happened to my wife I would not remarry. Having helped a few other folks I'm pretty familiar with divorce laws, and I wouldn't get near another marriage.
i think women overall do better alone than most men do.
I know I worry that my DH would wear clothes that don't match, and would probably drink too much. He relies on me to keep up the social connections in our life, so I always tell him to snag a new woman as soon as he can after I'm dead.
having been married 3 times and divorced twice, I would say NO I wouldn't do it a fourth time.
Word for word for me, dude. No FREAKING way. And I love my wife..a lot. But I'm neither needy or ever lonely. It's taken 20 years for us to break each other in, and we plan on 30 more of good living now that we're done with that. My wife says the same thing. Start over again? Nope.
Very cute! No, I have someone in mind in the unfortunate event it becomes plausible. I hope it doesn't.
Rats.
