Ran errands today, but tomorrow, Lord willing, dh and I are on our way to San Diego for a couple of days to celebrate our 45th Anniversary!

Went to the Yankee's spring training practice took the picture of Goose Gossage w/ Andy Petite above, golfed 18 (shot 87 yech!), watched the International Space Station fly over my house.

Errands in town this morning - picked up new glasses (vari-focals, of course) and weekly local paper. Will get on exercise bike and weights later, then probably paint yet another door. In the meantime, will spend time on the internet proscrastinating as usual.

Yesterday I helped a friend who at age 55 finally bought her first place - a nice 2 BR/2B condo. She is so excited! We moved a couple dozen boxes from her 2nd floor walk-up apartment to her new 2nd floor walk up condo - mostly books - and I can definitely feel it today! But it was fun, and it felt good to do something physical for a change.

Today I am meeting a friend for lunch. He was 2 levels above me at work and retired at the same time I did. Only he has now gone back to work a few days a week for the same employer as a consultant. Should be interesting to catch up on things.

Lazy day. I've got a headache so I'm not up to snuff today. Sitting at Borders downloading updates to my computer and phone, then I'll do my grocery shopping. Might go out and do some pruning this afternoon. Got some sealant to seal the floor in my living room after I pulled up the stinky old carpet. If they sealed subfloors before putting the carpet down, all I would have to do is clean it.
