I actually want to know who the parents are and what they plan to do about this. Funny how they show the teacher and mention she has kids and what her plans will be. Tell us who the parents are

What has that to do with anything? He’s special Ed, we don’t know why. They are probably doing the best they know how. It’s on the school district to figure out what the best placement is for him, not the parents. It’s not simply a matter of discipline with special Ed. If he’s in a classroom or school that can’t meet its needs, again its the responsibility of the district to reassess him and figure it out.
You don’t know that they aren’t. With special Ed it’s not just discipline. We at the school trained parents to help them deal with the kids, gave them info on sensory and other triggers etc. it is the school’s responsibility to make sure his placement is appropriate for where he is right now, and it doesn’t sound like they have been successful at that.
It’s really not as unusual as people here who don’t have knowledge of special Ed seem to think. This kid is not an anomaly. He’s in the wrong placement with the wrong teacher.
Im not arguing that but ultimately it is the parents responsibility to find the best fit for their child and try to see that their child is not harming others.
If this child was not SPED he would have been expelled from that school, placed in another school or othr arrangements made.
For most areas yes he is in the wrong placement. Many regular public schools do not have the means for such special students and it is an anomaly to have a child with severe behavioral issues in a more mainstream class room with other special ed students.
Oh come on. You know many dad's don't stay in the picture and it leads to troubled kids. Nothing wow about it.
He’s special Ed, he has disabilities that cause him to act out. He’s not a troubled kid because there’s no dad at home (which we don’t know anyway).

We don’t know what kind of classroom he’s in but obviously it’s not the right one. But it is not the responsibility of the parents to figure it out, it’s the district’s.,

This feels like more than just special ed issues to me.

We will just have to disagree.
Personally, if it were my kid and the district was doing nothing (this is the third incident with the teacher and there have been issues with other kids) I would be taking the reins and making a lot of noise.
I agree the district should be the ones providing alternatives and direction and finding the best fit, but they are not so it falls back on the parents to pressure the powers that be.
Here are recent incidents that happened in Pembrooke Pines. Call me crazy but this doesn't seem like a place most people would want to live and only strengthens my feelings on what this kids parents are like.
