You mean a state senator who had already run for congress before and had just won a state wide primary with 650,000 votes .

I sure wish more people would wake up to the benefits of Astrology, and stop denigrating it to the occult.

I just looked up his placements today and his placements scare me to death! Sun/Mercury/Venus in Aquarius, the 2nd most complex sign of the zodiac and noted for their being impractical. Mars in charm-the-pants-off-you Libra. Moon in either Scorpio or Sagittarius.

We all know would-be politico's say one thing and will they do another, turn into a Waffle-crat?

The Democrat party recently nominated a gay man for governor of Colorado, and he won.

However, I would agree that I have concerns about that going country-wide. While the U.S. is becoming more open to it, I'm not sure if it's open enough at this point.

Even if 2% are against it - this could impact to election results in close states. Unfortunately.

You could be right there. I would say it this way: being gay is not going to help him, but how much it will hurt him I really don't think any of us know.

There is nothing "far leftist" with standing up for the people. In fact, polls after polls show that the real centrist position is the position Bernie Sanders has on the issues.
What? Bernie is a far leftie! link?

Colorado, Arizona, Michigan, and Wisconsin all elected LGBT officials state wide in 2018

New Hampshire, Kansas, and Iowa elected LGBT officials in swing House districts.

So, its hard to say being gay hurts him either. It could in fact help him by bring out the worst elements of the GOP and causing moderates to either stay home or voter for Democrats.
