Well if I had to pick between living my life among those nazi Ukrainians in that nazi-fascist country or move to nirvana, hell yeah I would abandon my home if men armed with guns were coming to kill me. Those pure and innocent Russians have a good opportunity to move to the holy land, why not use it.

They are not you. And there is no nirvana.

I like that Czech Republic proposed:
- vacations in their universities for Ukrainian students, who have to write an essay: "Our future in Europe"
- a new Central European TV (perhaps in Russian language) for East Ukraine.

At least they try to propose not just to close some channels, but to open a new one.

I think that our mass-media should calm down. That constant cries ("junta" and so on) are annoying. And that poor people who are fighting for the succession can't build anything. Some of them are just former combatants with patriotic ideas and nothing else. I don't believe in them (that doesn't mean that the East won't have economic problems, they will and a lot, but I don't see how this combatants can propose something in economics, they can only fight, nothing more.

The former president should stay in our country in peace, he is afraid of prison, let's give him some insurance that he won't go there, but he must forget about politics. Perhaps, after such guarantees he will also calm down.

I'm curious if this situation will open more business opprotunities for Ukraine. I see a bright future for this country forming in a few years..

It really depends on how much the western forces are willing to back them up. Hell, they might be even annexed back to the old motherland and i bet Belarus would like that.

They say that the elected president was quite active in Communistic Youth Organization.
Now he is a devoted Orthodox. Funny. But we all know such stories. Well, in this situation the fact he is an Orthodox, not a Catholic might be a good thing.

Sorry, I usually take it with grain of salt, what former Soviet Jews write about Russia while living in the US, particularly when they make career in politics.
That's not because I am anti-Semitic; there are gazillion of Jews in Russia - the doctors, the pedagogs, the musicians, poets, actors, scientists and so on, who contributed to the country a great deal, and I consider people to be idiots if they deny/do not acknowledge it, but I am aware of the other side of it as well - that a lot of Jews who emigrated from the Soviet Union, see Russia first and utmost through the prism of "their suffering."
Good point. Sometimes they exaggerate holocaust victim numbers when several widely accepted reliable sources claim otherwise.

The US has been manipulating world internal politics for more than a century .Before that it was the
big brother England, the perfidious, who was the culprit . They intervene in every single case where they don't already have a puppet. Obama and his 'friends have tried to turn people against Putin with their lies
propagated by the controlled media, But Putin is a very clever man,and a man of courage and genuine
valeur,a rare thing in western politics of today.

Rebels in Eastern Ukraine Capture Government Posts.

In detail, a major border patrol post in the Luhansk region, I believe, and an internal security base in central Luhansk.

This news, from Wednesday morning, coupled with some opinion articles that I have read, casts doubt on the efficacy of the central government's offensive in the previous days.

If the border had been porous, now it seems wide open at least at one major segment.
